Hall Hire
Our Scout Halls in Central Park, Concord and Howse Park, Mortlake are available to hire by individuals, community groups and organisations whose activities the Scout Association feels are compatible with the principles of the Association and which benefit the community generally. We hire the halls on a one off basis, typically for celebrations, or on an ongoing basis, typically for club meetings or sport / fitness / dance classes. The proceeds from the hall hire help us to pay for and maintain our facilities and the equipment we use for our activities.

Scout Hall in Central Park
Hall Facilities - Central Park
The main hall has a polished wooden floor and measures approx 15m x 9m. There is a well equipped kitchen that contains an electric oven, microwave, fridge and hot water urn. The hall has lighting, a power supply, a large wall mounted fan but no heating. The hall is equipped with approximately 40 chairs and 8 trestle tables. The hall does not have its own toilet but a key to access the council maintained toilet block (located next to the scout hall) is provided.
One Off Hire - Central Park
The hall is hired at a half day (5hr) rate of $150. The hire period can be extended beyond 5 hours at a rate of $30 per hr. We require a (refundable) security deposit of $200 payable when collecting the keys for the hall. Please use the form below to make enquiries.
Regular Hire - Central Park
The hall can be hired on a regular basis at a rate of $25 per hr. There is a one off fee of $90 to cover lease preparation and a refundable security deposit of $200. Hirers are required to provide evidence of public liability insurance. Please use the form below to make enquiries.
Scout Hall in Howse Park
Hall Facilities - Howse Park
The main hall has a polished wooden floor and measures approx 9m x 9m. There is a newly renovated kitchen that contains an electric oven, microwave, fridge and zip hot water. The hall has lighting and a power supply but no heating. The hall is equipped with approximately 40 chairs and 8 trestle tables. The hall has its own interior toilets. The hall has direct access to Howse Park whcih contains a well equipped childrens playground.
